Yaeyama Islands Lifestyle College was initiated by the Yaeyama Visitors Bureau to provide information about the region’s culture, customs, nature and lifestyle during times that due to COVID Yaeyama fans refrained from visiting the islands. Compared to standard promotion, the project aims to give a deeper insight into life on the islands. It started off with an Instagram account, that is still regularly updated now. Nohoho supported especially the first three years of the project, including the dialect/language section. Each of the three years were covered in Japanese booklets as well as a summary pamphlet. The pamphlet is now also available in English. Nohoho supported the partial translation, plus the editing of new parts that are slightly different from the Japanese version and tailored to non-Japanese.
