Sustainable tourism: coverage on Iriomote Island, one of the latest Natural World Heritage sites

As part of an initiative by the Yaeyama Visitors Bureau I visited Iriomote that, together with other islands in Kagoshima and Okinawa prefectures, became a natural world heritage site in July this year. Participating among others in a tour that leads to the magnificent Mayakusuku waterfalls, an article from the perspective of responsible tourism has been published by ATT.JAPAN. On September 10, the article will also be covered in the printed edition of the free magazine.
